for today i wanted to show a little pic of the newest member
of my beach collection ;)
think i am in a stripy mood these days (hahaha)
nearly same construction as for on the beach
top down, contiguous set-in sleeves, seamless and sooooo comfy
only need to clear some sentences to get the pattern ready
for testing (sometimes it's unbelievable hard to write in
correct english......)
stay tuned

I know I'm not the fastest (test)knitter as I only just finished the other On The Beach sweater, but I wouldn't mind knitting this sweater as I was already planning another On The Beach ...
ReplyDeleteThis one looks so lovely! My previous one was Alpaca so not really beach stuff, but maybe I can search another yarn combo - more suitable for Summer - for a sweater like this! :D
Thank you, dear!
Deletewould love to have you in ;))
Another lovely one! What weight of yarn is used for this?
ReplyDeleteHi Kelly,
DeleteI used GEORGIA (Lang Yarns) - cotton/elite mix
knitted with 4.5 mm needles to a gauge
19 sts x 26 rows
Oh I love the neck on this one. I was going to suggest myself as a test knitter as well. :)
ReplyDeleteIt will take me a few days to get the pattern ready
