ReplyDeleteThank you so much! Very kind of you to share.
ReplyDeleteThank you for all your hard work that makes it easy for us to knit.
ReplyDeleteIs the gauge mentioned in the pattern measured before or after blocking? Thanks for the lovely pattern!!
ReplyDeleteI'm pretty new to this knitting hobby, but am looking forward to starting this Paulie Cardigan. I am wanting to knit it in wool from a particular breed of sheep - what would the equivalent wool be to teh fortissima alpaka and trekking pro natura? DK?
ReplyDeleteBeautiful !! Thanks :-)
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing the pattern! So beautiful! =)
ReplyDeleteThis looks lovely, it will be my first sweater to knit! Thank You!
ReplyDeleteFirst: thank you for sharing this! Would you disclose the color number of the Trekking Pro Natura you used? :) Can't find any i think that looks like it - they seem to orange on my screen...Thank you
ReplyDeleteWhen I click on the link to get the pattern it takes me to a Google site - no pattern. Has it been removed?
ReplyDeletehi, for some reason I cannot DOWNLOAD the pattern, it just shows me a QUICK VIEW...do you know what might be happening? thanks
ReplyDeleteHi
ReplyDeleteCould you adjust the pattern for an XL size, in inches, instead of cm?
Thanks
Judy L
I love your pattern, thank you for sharing !!
ReplyDeleteDie Jacke ist total schön, trifft absolut meinen Geschmack. Ich muss dringend lernen, wie man mehr als nur eine Socke strickt :)
ReplyDeleteWhen separating the sleeves from the front and back it says to put 56 sts on waste yarn, then bo 12 (i'm knitting the small size), but when you get to the other side it says to put 56 sts on holder and then bo 12 more sts, but this does not mirror. Is this perhaps written backwards? I'm nervous about following homemade patterns because they've been miswritten before so I figured I could ask you myself.
ReplyDeleteyou CO new sts between the fronts and the back
Deleteit does not make a difference if you place the sleeve sts
before or after CO the new sts,
cause you don't knit the sleeve sts in this row.
Hi, I love your patterns, I have just started Driftwood. I also love Paulie but would like to knit it in Madeline Tosh Merino DK or DK Twist but I don't know how to covert the pattern to this yarn. Any chance you might be able to do this. I would also be more than willing to pay for this pattern. Please let me know.
ReplyDeleteThanks,
Linda
Hallo Isa

Thank you for the beautiful pattern! I am knitting the medium size, but feel that I may need a few more inches in the bust. Is there a good way to increase for the bust only? I have just completed the yoke in garter stitch and am ready to begin in stockinette for the rest of the sweater. Cheers!
ReplyDeleteHi July,
Deletemaybe you could CO a few more sts at the underarms, this will also add more
circumference to the upper arms, but you could decrease them right away
when starting the sleeves
Liebe Isa,
Vielen Dank!
Sophie
I love the pattern! Thank you so much for publishing this for free! It's my very first time knitting from a pattern and I've found it to be very easy to work with. If only I could knit faster:)
ReplyDeletethank you so much for the free pattern. The pdf is beautiful too! you are very generous, meticulous, and talented.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing the pattern. These days I start work and I would buy the buttons on the occasion of a trip to Milan. Can you tell me the measurements of the buttons?
ReplyDeleteAnother question: I use the yarn AADE long (Artistic 8/2) that work on needle size 2.75, gauge 20 st x 10 cm. From my calculation I cast on 72 st. is that right?
It increases the raglan will always be the same?
Thanks for your time that you can devote and good work.
Marilena
What a beautiful pattern. Thanks for sharing! I have a question about counting: when I get to the second counting point after the raglan increases I have significantly more stitches (52 front, 62 sleeves and 104 back). I am making the small sweater. Was I supposed to repeat all of the 'last six rows' 7 times, meaning I'd work for 72 rows? Just wondering where I might have gone wrong. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteI have the same issue. I am just at the point before knitting this section, I've mapped out my rows and calculating, I will have the same number of stitches as the post above. Did you ever figure out the dilemma?
Deletethe 6 rows we're talking about are
DeleteRS: raglan inc
WS: no inc
RS: raglan inc
WS: no inc
RS: no inc
WS: no inc
You increase in 2 rows of the 6 rows
maybe you didn't read the
NEXT 3 ROWS: K (means: no inc in these 3 rows!)
correctly?
OMG. I should have had that extra cup of coffee this morning! Thank you so much for pointing that out for me. I can't believe I missed that.
DeleteIf it's any consolation, me and a friend have both made the same mistake and hadn't worked out our error until I read this, so many thanks.
DeleteWhich size is pictured? I have a 91 cm bust so should I knit the medium size?
ReplyDeleteThis is my first sweater that I knit, really fun pattern, for a beginner I learned a lot techniques, thank you!
ReplyDeleteI have a question regarding the button holes, why is it 2 yo, instead of 1 yo? For my result is two holes came out when I knit the next row, did I miss something? Please help.
Chilan
I have started knitting this pattern and am up to the part where you separate the sleeves. If I look at the D measurement in the diagram it is 7.5 inches. The depth of mine is 6 inches. Is the diagram D measurement from top of raglan to split for sleeve?
ReplyDeleteI admit, I have a tremendous sex drive. My boyfriend lives forty miles away. Hey, i am looking for an online sexual partner ;) Click on my boobs if you are interested (. )( .)
