finished

finished my testknit for Joji today
opposite pole is an amazing, cozy sweater

the pattern will be soon available
and i highly recommend knitting one of your own!

once you get along with the different cablecharts
it flies off your needles
i did this in a hurry cause we will leave for egypt
tomorrow

i knitted the first st of every garter round
to get this neat seam on the cuffs

when i'm back home i will add a few rounds
to make the garter section a bit longer

pattern. opposite pole
yarn. mistral col. 1906
13 skeins for smallest size

so for now i will leave you with all the best wishes
and hope to have some nice stories and colourful pics
when i'm back from egypt

elop

just a few wip pics of this beautiful testknit i'm doing for Joji

it's a circular sweater/cardigan
with reversible cables

only the sleeves to knit
the yarn is soooo soft and a pleasure to knit

on my last wedge i did less shortrows
to match the cables for grafting
let me tell you
grafting reversible cables is hell!!!!

i had to redo sts a few times until they worked right
poooh!!!!
but it's worth it, you really don't see
the grafting, it's a complete circle!

pattern. opposite pole by Joji Locatelli
yarn. mistral col. 1906
needles. 5.5mm and 6mm circulars
5.5mm dps for the sleeves

maybe i can finish one sleeve before we
leave for our trip to egypt

have nice days

there's a great tutorial for grafting over at wisehildas blog

new dress

ooooops,....  i did it again.....
another dress. this time i used an old xxxl shirt

i was not totally happy with the seam at the bustline
so i added a few crochet flowers and motifs
out of this book and now i'm really happy with it!!

it's comfy and cozy and i think a perfect holiday dress

maybe i will take it with me to egypt
only 14 days to go....yeah!

have a nice one
