striped blanket cardi

remember this sneak peak of my blanket style cardigan?
finished it a few days ago, but had no time for doing the shots...

simplest topdown construction with
a cute raglan line i think

the raglanline flows into a faux side seam
a nice detail for this plain and simple design

yarn. soft merino by ICE YARNS
needles. 4mm circulars and dpns

will work on a pattern, if there is any interest
on such a simple thing

see you

contiguous blue

finished my contiguous-set-in-sleeve tee
this evening
i am really pleased with it!!!!
the hemmed edges look so nice
the drawstring was a real good choice
and this deep blue fits me so......

the backneck increases worked fine, so
the neck does not come this high as it did without
maybe the next time i would do 3 inc on both sides
to even them out

we will see

..............

for now i have a new testknit on the go
i am proud to tell that she
invited me to test her new design perla
........

waiting for  my yarn to arrive
.....

see you

blanket cardi

this sweet striped cardi is making progress
i'm really pleased with the outcome
thinking about a ribbed band along the frontopening

not decided yet....

out of the blue leftovers i continued
my experiments in contiguous set-in-sleeve construction
developed by SusieM

2 shoulder sts
increased by leftleaning and rightleaning increases
(M1L, M1R) on rs and ws
6 sts for sleevecaps
inc sleevests on rs and ws until sleeve
measures 3 cm
continued inc on every rs row

inc for backneck shaping on both sides
of the backneck 3 times on every rs row
[first inc 4 sts after shouldersts, next inc 3 sts
after, next inc 7 sts before shouldersts, next inc
4 sts before shouldersts]

this will be a simple stst tee with a striped bottom
hope i can show more pics soon

have a nice week

contiguous experiments

experimental knitting using this idea
by SusieM

notes:
3 centre sts for shoulderseam
mirrored inc on knit and purl sides (m1l, m1r)
sleeve cap:
replaced markers (5 sts between)
sm, m1, k2, m1, k1, m1, k2, m1, sm, .....

thinking about inc only on the knit sides
- 4 inc per knit row -

........

first pics of my finished revival test

i did one slip st seam on the front
was thinking about crocheting through this
to accentuate it a bit more..?

the yarn is wonderful to wear, but hell to knit
no chance to knit while watching tv
it is soooo splitty that i had to look on every
single st i made, to make sure i knit through all threads

more pics to come

have a nice day

alga

got my testknit for veera ready
this weekend and it turned out sooooo sweet
the pattern is like all her others
well written, easy and clear
the pleats on the front look very nice
but i can imagine this sweater without them
looking nice too
yarn. fortissima alpaka col. 28.0317-3013
2 skeins for size xs
needles. 4mm circulars and dpns

so, as you can see
a super comfy, cute sweater
simple with a little twist to make it special
just one of those perfect sweaters
any of us should call one's own

.......

started this morning a new project
....hihihi, unsurprisingly isn't it?

revival is a seamless sweater worked
topdown with this continguous set-in sleeve method

we'll see how it works - stay tuned
